Patrick Eckstrom
President & CEO

Patrick Eckstrom is the President & CEO of My Social Marketing Network a San Diego based Marketing & PR Agency that focuses on social media and internet marketing to help clients increase revenue and brand awareness.

Patrick has an extensive background in Social Media Consulting, Keynote and Public Speaking, Sales and Marketing Strategies, Partnership Development, Brand Awareness, Traditional and Online PR, Website Design & re-design and is responsible for all day to day operations of My SMN.

He has worked with and consulted for many sales and marketing companies over the past ten years, and he holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics and History from the University of Wisconsin.

Colleen Rugg
Director of Strategic Planning

Colleen develops new media strategies and builds railways between companies, customers and employees. She specializes in large social media campaigns, online public relations and tracks the behaviors of the “connected customer.”

Prior to My SMN, Colleen was an Account Supervisor at BERKMAN, a public relations and marketing agency, where she led interactive, social campaigns for large private companies in the consumer products and hospitality industries.

She still consults for BERKMAN and is the lead social media strategist. She was also Director of Corporate Communications for a multi-million dollar construction management company in NYC.

She graduated from New England College with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

Kristian Zaspel
Director of Social Media

Kristian works with businesses to enhance their brands online by leveraging his design skills to support business objectives and showcase each client’s unique culture. His broad social media knowledge provides depth and understanding that gets results.

Kristian relates to everyone and his positive attitude and ability to make lasting and meaningful relationships is legendary.

Before his tenure at My SMN, Kristian worked as a designer for AVRP Studios, a top architectural firm in San Diego.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Design from the University of Wisconsin.

John Stahmer
Director of Business Development

Prior to joining My SMN as the Director of Business Development, John was the Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Fire, Building and Life Safety managing the agencies day-to-day operations and serving as the Agencies Public Information Officer (PIO) where he interacted with both the media and the legislature.  In addition, John has experience teaching marketing, working in the Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting as well as Criminal Litigation Experience in everything from low end misdemeanors to first degree murder.

John still handles some litigation work with Joel Hirschhorn who acts of Counsel to him in Wisconsin.  Joel has a national presence and is one of the more prominent and well-regarded litigators in the countries.

John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Education with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, a Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law and a Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona.

Alessandra Ceresa
Account Executive

Alessandra brings a strong background in campaign development and media relations to My SMN. Her creativity and social media skills, provide energy and motivation to the accounts she manages.

Before joining My MSN, Alessandra served as a marketing and events coordinator at Nika Water, a non-profit company specializing in bottled water.

Alessandra then interned at BERKMAN, Allison PR, and was eventually hired fulltime as an Account Executive with BERKMAN.

She graduated from New England College with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
